The vent is a channel moulded through the middle of the cushion so air moves under you while you sit. That matters in two places: a bleacher seat in July, and a long car drive. Nineteen inches covers a standard stadium plank. We shelve it with the floats rather than with the robes because it is the same vinyl, the same valve and the same patch kit as everything else here, and because it deflates into a coat pocket.
